CPM • EVM • Change Control • Risk Management — All in One
Master complex projects with enterprise-grade planning controls. Built by planning engineers, for planning engineers. No technical jargon. Just results.
Forward/backward pass calculations. Identify critical path automatically. Know which activities will delay your project.
Total and free float tracking. Risk classification. Know your schedule buffer before it's too late.
CPI, SPI, EAC, VAC calculations. Government-contract ready. Know if you're over budget and behind schedule.
Integrated change request log. Automatic impact analysis. Track schedule and cost impact of every change.
Probability × Impact scoring. Automatic priority classification. Mitigation strategy tracking.
Multi-category cost tracking. Variance analysis. Burn rate forecasting. Stay in control of spend.
Allocation tracking by role and timeline. Cost-per-day visibility. Spot over-allocation instantly.
Real-time KPIs. Executive-ready reporting. All key metrics on one screen.
Baseline vs actual dates by activity. Slippage quantified in days. See which activities moved and by how much.
Structured capture of what went wrong and why. Carry the fixes into the next project instead of relearning them.
Every metric recalculates as you update progress — no manual roll-ups.
Forward and backward pass run automatically — the critical path highlights itself.
| Metric | Value | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Cost Variance (CV) | −£184,000 | Over budget |
| Schedule Variance (SV) | +£52,000 | Ahead |
| Estimate at Completion (EAC) | £4,712,000 | Watch |
| Variance at Completion (VAC) | −£290,000 | Forecast overrun |
Government-contract ready EVM — CPI, SPI, EAC and VAC from the same data set.
PROJECT CONTROL CENTER tells you where you are. The Forecast Engine tells you where you will end up — with a confidence range instead of a single number you have to defend on your own.
1,000 iterations over your uncertain inputs, producing P50, P80 and P90 outturn cost and completion date. No macros — plain Excel formulas.
A completion date forecast that stays honest to the end, instead of the naive SPI method that drifts back to 1.0 exactly when a late project most needs the truth.
Nuclear, construction, data centres, airports, offshore, rail, power T&D and energy generation — each with its own WBS, cost codes, risks and regulatory milestones.

Created by planner with experience at Shell, Costain, and major nuclear/energy projects
MSI-certified project manager with deep earned value management expertise
Built specifically for infrastructure, energy, and nuclear decommissioning projects
PROJECT CONTROL CENTER started as an internal toolkit — a set of spreadsheets built to survive real audits on real projects, because the alternatives were either a five-figure enterprise licence or a blank workbook and a long weekend.
It was written by a planning engineer who had spent years doing CPM by hand, rebuilding earned value reports every month end, and explaining variance to people who wanted one number, not a methodology lecture. Every module exists because a project needed it.
Write-ups on EVM setup, float discipline and change control are in progress. Email hello@projectcontrolcenter.co.uk to be told when the first one lands.
Set up your first project in under an hour — WBS, activity list, logic links and baseline.
Request the guide →Short walkthroughs for each module: running a CPM pass, setting a baseline, logging a change.
Ask for access →Formula reference, field definitions, and the EVM conventions used throughout the workbook.
Get the reference →Email support is included with every licence. Training and consulting are available separately.
Contact the team →Start with one project. Scale to your entire portfolio.
Questions about licensing, training, or consulting? We usually reply within one business day.
